Tinker Bell AGAIN!

I should have posted it with the yesterday's one since this is just a bigger version of that one... Oh well today is my "sooo happy it's Thursday, this week has been so crazy and I'm so ready for the weekend" day so please accept a repeat post:-)

I was asked to design a chest hit like this... Another PINK inspired design I believe...

Oh I like this one! It didn't survive in the end since they decided to go with less athletic direction...

Sleeping Tink

So I almost made it a whole month of my new year resolution but of course I'm feeling behind today... It's a sleeping Tink but to me she really doesn't look like Tinker Bell:-( I couldn't find a really good sleeping Tink to use as a reference and it got difficult...

This one also didn't survive in the end but I liked it better than the PINK knock off ones... This one I actually sketched and colored in... By the time we were all done with this collection I was soooo tired of sketching Tinker Bell!

Another one that was a bit of a relief when it didn't get used... I think it's just too PINK.

Does this sound familiar? Yeah it's a complete knock off of Pink... I don't really like knocking off stuff, I like being inspired so I was glad this didn't make the cut to be honest... But I like how it looks, not solid but has nice chalk texture...:-)

The Little Mermaid Part3

This is the last of my design from the little mermaid collection... And this one is truly my original design so I'm very attached to this one. I originally did two options and we ended up using the This Way My Way art which is the bottom one with a slight change...(I noticed his left fin is not in the picture but the final art has his fin pointing where "My way!" is...) As you can see it comes in this pretty lavender ground and I believe the body has slight sharkbite style to it...

Disney Couture

Almost at the same time we were working on the Imagined: Little Mermaid collection, we were working on Disney Couture: Tinker Bell/Peter Pan collection for Macy's(Juniors)... By the end I was soooo tired of sketching tinker bells... Unfortunately these graphics didn't make the cut in the end but I do have the bottom Tink hanging on our wall at home...:-)

I designed this dreamland stripes and they came out quite nice and are used for a few different styles...

And here is another one of Disney's original sketch of Ariel and Flounder I colored in... This one and the Sebastian sketch were the only ones Disney gave us to use for our Imagined collections so almost all the future Imagined graphics are done by us...:-) And there is one more from this collection to show you but that's another post!

The Little Mermaid Part1

I'm very excited to tell you about the little mermaid collection that will be in your near by Target very soon... There will be three designs that I worked on and this Sebastian is one of them...
Disney provided as with the original sketch of Sebastian so what I did was to put him on a rock I sketched, colored in, and added bubbles... This collection is for Infants/Toddlers from 12 months to 5T and I believe it's around $11 so not too bad I think...:-)

So I believe this Junior's tee was sold somewhere this holiday season but I actually have no idea which store... Very California right!?:-)
Update: I asked the designer and she said it was for Sears... I haven't been to it to check it out myself though... well it may be too late by now...:(
